Reply to Gutsy Writer's coment about foreign agents: When you Google "foreigh rights agents," among the sites that come up are US agents' and publishers' lists of foreign rights agents with whome they work. You can contact the foreign agents directly or work with them through a US agent. Either way, don't overlook opportunities to sell foreign rights. It's a way to share the ideas in your book around the world.

I just discovered your blog and wanted to say what a great interview you had with Robert McKee. I shall forward it to my FB friends.
Regarding foreign rights, I attend many writers clubs and I believe at one of them, Jerry Simmons, stated to be careful about signing with foreign agents. If I remember correctly, he advised writers to use a reputable U.S. agent, who has the connections with agents in other countries. Too many authors have been scammed, especially via the Internet to sign up. Can you perhaps clarify this, for those of us not yet familiar with the process.

I'm fascinated with your book title. I've been married for 23 years and agree that women want strong men. I do feel sorry for guys today though-( I have 3 sons) as women have been sending them mixed messages. Be strong, yet be sensitive. Great post. I shall subscribe to your blog.
