Congratulations to Mark Niu, October winner of an iScript, for posting goals on Write On! Online. Post your November goals and be entered in the monthly drawing to win a FREE iScript.

Due to Facebook “upgrades,” the goals on the Write On! Fan Page discussion board have disappeared. The good news is: You can all revamp your November goals. Just post in the comment section below. Thanks!

Well … I’ve been pretty sidetracked lately as I’ve had to do more art than writing on these new comic book projects that are finally coming out (that’s what happens in comics – they take hours to write but weeks to draw), but:
    – In lieu of doing anything for NaNoWriMo, I’m going to try and get back to work on the “growing up in Vegas” memoir.
    – Dust off the non-fiction pitch for a new Nevada-based publisher with whom I have good ties.
    – Find time to work on the action/suspense film script. Thankfully, it’s fully outlined.
    – Of course, in the meantime, my editorial duties will kick in full as I edit and assemble the first issue of this new comic book anthology, as well as prep the second issue of my own comic series, The Utopian.

And family’s in town for two weeks. We’ll see how that impacts my productivity!

Get the kids up and running for NaNoWriMo, and get about 1/8-1/4 of the way through my own novel.

Well, my goal is to complete the Poetic Asides PAD (poem-a-day) Chapbook Challenge, and also to get back into writing creative non-fiction stories again.

My goals for November are loftier looking back than they appeared when I made them.

    1) Participate in NaNoWriMo (goal of 2000 words a day from Nov 2nd thru Nov 25 with a few days at the end as leeway)

    2) Compete in the 30-30 challenge for the online magazine that I write for and write 30 articles in the next 30 days and have them posted and approved before the 30th.

    3) Write 1 page a day on the action/adventure screenplay that I am working on for a total of 30 complete pages by November 30th.

    4) Write 3 papers and 3 journals for my 3 theater classes, finish my math paper, and write my library sciences paper.

    5) Maintain a 4.0 GPA in 14.5 units of classes.

    6) Add working on my first Bacheolors Degree classes starting 11/12 – (20 hours a week minimum required time online)

Think I can do it? I will be living off of Coke and sugar.
