Here are some of the goals posted last month.

Daniel Escurel Occeno To finish the second half of self-publishing an eBook, Shinee the White Squirrel. 5 years old Little Julie ran away from home and she met Shinee the White Squirrel, a talking white squirrel.

Shannon Holly Write chapter 2 (just finished the 1st chapter)

Dennis Wilen I need one new client.

Lois Paige Simenson Revise the next 10 pages

Monique Goosen We are rebuilding our lives after the fires in the Southern Cape, South Africa. Long and slow process. Starting over.

Saif Deda I’m still struggling how to start writing career, no specific goals yet.

Jonathan Lazar I’ve got draft one of a fantasy book under revision (hoping to have done by august), draft 5 of another fantasy book under revision (hoping to have done by end of the month so I can get it off to my publisher), summer school (HR Law), and my regular job!

Lois Paige Simenson Speeding up revision goals to meet a mid-September deadline of pitching my novel at the next writers’ conference. Received critiques of first 3 chapters, this week’s goal is to make the fixes.

Daniel Escurel Occeno To complete the other half unfinished from last week.

Lois Paige Simenson Revise first 6 chapters of my novel.

Trin Reese Screenwriting: getting the basic plot points down, on a new screenplay. Also need to tweak another script that the Nicholl Academy gave me feedback on. They liked it, but gave some really great advice on things to change. Very helpful.

Daniel Escurel Occeno To self-publish my very first story, which I wrote, back in 1996 when I first decided to be a serious writer and submit to publishing houses at New York City. Actually I sent it first to a publisher at Los Angeles. Plato the Smart Old Owl

Danielle Lee 1000 words/day for the rest of the week, reorganize outline as one character decided to hijack and alter a major scene, continue editing Part Two…I could go on forever. lol

Claire Louise Brown Working on my forth novel, had a slow start for a number of reasons. Now I’m aiming to achieve a minimum of 500-1000 words a night (taking day job in to account)

Christina Chan One more new pitch for the week. More than one contact follow-up. Complete an article for deadline. Finish listening ASJA conference recording. Work on that script.

Audrey Paulduro Working on the itinerary for our trip to Ireland. I gotta feeling I’m going to be doing some writing!!!

Beth McGee 7000 words, as well as networking and strategizing for my upcoming campaign.

Tracy Gerhardt-Cooper Get myself ready and packed for my first writers’ conference ever next week.

Tammie Tarell Write an original poem for my husband for our anniversary. It will be the first of many going into a book later this year.

Sulaiman Rasidat My target for the week has been met.I launched my academy and also got a frame making business started.

Alisha Vincent Finish a paranormal novelette

Lois Paige Simenson Continue novel revision. Chapter 4

Val Arcas Almudi Add to my novel and 3 blog posts!

Audrey Paulduro As I’m writing this…I am so into my journal with the plants. I’m laughing. ..I’m crying..I’m remembering…I’m missing…I’m learning…it’s crazy…and I can’t stop writing…who would have thought that some seeds and some dirt could create this…

Daniel Escurel Occeno I decided to put off dealing with my self-publication of my first full-length novel until after my birthday on the 15th. My mother does not have plans for the town Fiesta Day on the 13th and next week, but I do not want to worry about the editing process.

Lois Paige Simenson Final edit on my query letter and pitch speel for my meeting with a NYC literary agent this weekend. Fine tune edit on the first 4 pages of my novel to give her

Razan Jahjah Publishing my first booklet of Arabic Poetry

Beth McGee 6000 words.

Daniel Escurel Occeno To self-publish into an eBook previously written works of fiction.
