Jennifer Purdie’s book Growth Mindset for Athletes, Coaches and Trainers from Ulysses Press comes out October 10. The book discusses success strategies for sports pros and amateurs.

Jennifer Pulling’s brand-new website is live. Plus, her latest play “Justice” had a rehearsed reading at the latest SWWJ Drama Day at Westminster Library, London, last Saturday. Set on the Sardinian island of Asinara, the play charts the weeks when anti-mafia judge, Giovanni Falcone and his colleague, Paolo Borsellino prepared the huge documentation for the Maxitrials that took place in Palermo in the 80s.

Of interest to authors of both fiction and nonfiction: Petrea Burchard, G.B. Pool, and Bonnie Schroeder will discuss their books, their writing process, and how their varied backgrounds led them to the writing profession at the Glendale Library on November 9. All three authors are dedicated to the craft and have interesting stories to share about the writing life. The trio will also read brief passages from their work and field questions from the audience.
