We had a great meeting last night—very productive and with lots of good energy. We welcomed new members Karen and Paul, who were sent to Write On! by a friend of mine in New York; Richelle, who is new to LA; and Willis, who wandered in when he saw our meeting room, and stuck around.
After a rousing round of Goals, and the passing out of gold stars of different colors, Mel shared his work for the first time. It was excellent! Plus, Laurie shared more of her fun chick lit novel, which sparked a great conversation about the dating—and dumping—behaviors of different generations! All in the name of engaging the audience through the craft of writing!
