October 29: PALA presents The Nuts and Bolts of Self-Publishing with Sharon Goldinger. Go to PA-LA.org and click on the right sidebar for a list of all the topics Sharon will cover. RSVP and pay there as well. This 4-hour seminar starts at 9:30am in Culver City, and prepaid reservations are required. $69 before October 8; $79 after.

October 30: IWOSC presents “You’ve Graduated — So Now What??” a panel aimed at young people trying to break into the writing industry – in TV/film and online journalism. Event is in Culver City, and starts at 7:30pm. IWOSC members free; others $15. All the info and panelists at IWOSC.org.

November 14: The 2016 edition of #140conf will take place in Los Angeles at The Crest in Westwood.
