There’s a new alternative to the query letter called the Authors Seeking Agents Wish List website at ASAWL.com. Authors can pitch any genre. Plus, agents and publishers can review the pitches and ask to see more.
Beth Howard’s third book, Hausfrau Honeymoon: Love, Language, and Other Misadventures in Germany, came out last month. Congrats, Beth!
Sandra de Helen’s first full-length book of poetry, published by Launch Point Press, will be celebrated at a party on November 11, from 2 to 4pm at TaborSpace, 5441 SE Belmont. in Portland, OR. The party will also feature poets Kathleen Sadaat, G. L. Morrison, and Ila Suzanne Gray. Naomi Littlebear Morena will debut her new choral arrangement, Survivor, with the help of friends and choir. A special cake is being produced by Pastrygirl of Portland. Other Launch Point authors will join the party, and there will be a book fair. Learn more.
