Sunday, August 26: UCLA Extension’s Writers Faire on the University of California – Los Angeles campus. Choose from 24 free mini-classes presented by 70 Writers’ Program instructors. They will discuss the art and craft of writing as a preview of their classes offered during the fall Writers’ Programs. The Writers Faire will be held in the Young Hall Courtyard on the UCLA campus. Admission is FREE. But parking on campus in Lot 2 is $11.

Sundays: Scriptchat, a twitter chat for new and seasoned screenwriters, has two chats each Sunday: 8pm GMT is EURO #scriptchat, moderated by Mina Zaher (@DreamsGrafter) and 8pm EST, moderated by Jeanne Veillette Bowerman (@jeannevb). All transcripts are posted on the blog, as well as tons of screenwriting resources.
