In November, our Los Angeles writers hangout will be on November 13. There will be no virtual meeting this month.

November: National Novel Writing Month. Are you writing a novel in 30 Days? Let us know if you are doing #NaNoWriMo.

November 8: The Travel Writing Workshop with Erin Byrne & The Voyage Vixens will be at Writers Junction, Santa Monica, 7:30-9:30 pm. Erin Byrne, along with Lindsay Taub and Lanee Lee of The Voyage Vixens, will share how to make a career out of travel writing, the challenges and benefits of being a freelancer, and the inside scoop on pitching stories.

November 10: Deadline to post your November Goals on Write On Online or Facebook and be entered in a drawing to win a book from Michael Wiese Productions. MWP Fans get the latest news about free online classes, international workshops, and more.

November 13: Write On!/Guided Goals Hangout for Writers & Other Creatives at Capital One 360 – Los Angeles Café, 11175 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, from 1 to 3pm. LA Writers and Creative People, swing by the cafe for coffee and conversation. Like the cafe on Facebook and follow them on Twitter. RSVP on Facebook. NOTE: There is no virtual meeting in November, just a writers hangout.

November 15 – 17: Visit the MWP booth at CTN Animation Expo in Burbank, CA, to see live demos of Master Shots Ebooks with HD video and Audio.

November 28: WeSaidGoTravel.com’s Gratitude Travel Writing Contest deadline. The theme for the Fall 2013 contest is “Gratitude: A Place You Feel Awe.” No entry fee and $1,000 in cash prizes. Share your stories of awe and Inspire others to travel more! Judges: Richard Bangs, Tiffany Hawk, and the We Said Go Travel Team.

December 2 & 3: Pay it Forward for Business Christmas Party – Incubate and Pay it Forward at Satellite Flexible Workspace in Santa Monica. Get tickets for Monday or Tuesday night’s party.
