WeSaidGoTravel.com’s Gratitude Travel Writing Contest starts September 11. The theme is “Gratitude: A Place That Inspires You to Feel Strong and Hopeful.” No entry fee and $650 in cash prizes. Share your story of your act of gratitude–a place you chose or that allows you to stand up for yourself. Judges: Richard Bangs, AnneLise Sorensen, and the We Said Go Travel Team. Deadline is November 27, 2014.

The Tahoma Literary Review is now accepting narrative nonfiction submissions on any subject. Full guidelines are here. Also accepting fiction and poetry submissions. They currently pay between $30 and $100.
