Congrats to Shannon Luders-Manuel received her first byline in Essence.com, with a short piece about 18-year-old award winning filmmaker Gabrielle Gorman.

Jen Klein’s next book – Shuffle Repeat – comes out May 3. It’s being described as “When Harry Met Sally for YA readers.” Also, Jen was recently featured on Pilar Alessandra’s On The Page podcast with fellow TV writer/YA author Sara Saedi. It’s episode #450.

Joey Held just finished a writing challenge during March and April to complete one short story per week. The final result can be found on WattPad.

The 13th Continuum by Jennifer Brody is now out! She will be doing two signings at BEA in Chicago on May 12th – 10am to 12pm at SFWA booth and 2pm at the Turner Publishing booth. She is also one of the guest authors at the Mysterious Galaxy Birthday Bash on May 7 in San Diego. More info in events.

Clean Break, a new novel by Abby Vegas, blends chick-lit and romantic suspense into one irresistible New York story, comes out May 16.

Alyssa Barron’s poem, “Face Time,” can be found in the May issue of The Artemis Journal. Plus, The Elephant Journal published her latest article, detailing an interview hosted by Anjula Ram, discussing Unified Field Theory with notable physicist, Nassim Haramein.
