Jennifer Brody’s new book Return of the Continuums publishes on November 1. The book launch will be November 5 at Skylight Books in downtown LA. RSVP for the book launch.

Rachna Khatau has been published in an anthology of personal essays written by South Asian American women, called Good Girls Marry Doctors. The Los Angeles book launch is at The Last Bookstore on December 5 at 7:30pm. Get details on the Facebook event.

Starting in September, on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, writers are welcome to come to the Santa Monica Bay Woman’s Club to write from 6:30 to 10pm. (Note: Due to the election, the first meeting this month will be on Wednesday, November 9.) The Tahoma Literary Review is accepting narrative nonfiction submissions on any subject. Full guidelines are here. Also accepting fiction and poetry submissions. They currently pay between $30 and $100.
