Friday, March 26: Mark Niu’s short film–Juche Rules–which he adapted from his award-winning, one-act play, is playing at the Edgemar Short Film Festival in Santa Monica. (The film is part of the 10:30 am block.) Mark is nominated for best screenplay.
Sunday, March 28: Nancy Mills, founder of The Spirited Woman, will be having an encore performance of her Tales of Downtown on Sunday from 3 – 6 pm at the City of Angeles Theater, 501 S. Monday, March 29: The March Film Courage Interactive at the Downtown Independent, 251 S. Main Street, Los Angeles, 90012, will screen director Carey Corr’s political mockumentary A New Tomorrow For more info, go to downtownindependent.com. The monthly “mixer” runs from 7 to 11 pm. Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased online or at the door.
