Here are the goals posted on the Facebook Page and in the Group in October.

April Bing I did pretty good last week but i have so much going on this week, it’s gonna be a challenge.

Bill Kelly I was too busy to make specific goals last week, but I was able to do some writing. I added something that a friend suggested that I need for my first book. I ended up writing almost three thousand words for that. I don’t know whether it will ever be part of the final book if the book is ever published, but it’s a possible addition.

Deborah Lyn Stanley I took half the week off – getting burned out – but was still acceptably productive … 🙂

Daniel Escurel Occeno I was able to make my cover for the paperback of my World War Two historical novel but could not complete it. There is always December. Also I uploaded the cover for my 2018 NaNoWriMo winner so possible before Christmas as well. No point unless I have a cover for the paperback.

Susan Valot I’d like to put together at least one good pitch. But I need a sinus infection to lift so I can think straight first!

Tom Moser More submissions. Not getting any traction on my current query so rethinking my approach.

Nikki Prince writing on new book, editing to turn in second revisions to publisher

Nita Sweeney Fever is back. Just trying to get through the week. Have a book club event tomorrow night. Will rest all day tomorrow in preparation.

Lois Paige Simenson Resuming revision of first 3 chapters of Alaskan Spark for submission to Carina Press.

Christina Alexandra Can I make 25000 by end of day Saturday? I hope so…

April Bing Working on maintaining my writing pace.

Michele Miles Gardiner Write two new stories and edit the others.

Tania Yesivell I have to finish a story. And get ready for November, maybe?

Daniel Escurel Occeno My WW2 historical needs more work than anticipated. I wrote it and won NaNoWriMo 2010. My NaNoWriMo 2018 and 2017 winners are more current edited so considering working on those instead to self-publish on ebook along with paperback.

Vincent Kovar To literally write anything other than social media and marketing text.

Carol Dunahoo Hegberg journal notes. All my siblings have health issues now, and with helping them, I don’t pressure myself, only notes in journal.

Nita Sweeney It’s a bit of a catch up week for me since I missed a few days at the marathon expo and race. Just want to get through the week and possibly get rid of this teensy fever that showed up yesterday. My body fights stress with heat.

Ester Benjamin Shifren I’ll be teaching my writing class on Thursday and can’t wait to see what they’ve produced this week.

Sarah Glenn Working on those blog posts.

Daniel Escurel Occeno Since the planning and plotting of my NaNoWriMo novel are doing fine I am going to look over my historical world war two novel for ebook and paperback self-publication.

Tania Yesivell Writing the new-new story as soon as possible.

Deborah Lyn Stanley Announce my memoir launch via email and social media. stir up interest!

Jeannie Gallagher Donnelly Edit, Edit, Edit…. get this WIP off my desk!

Richard Rossi Finish final third of novel first draft

Destiny Pifer I am still working on my 5,000 word story for a horror anthology but am only at 1,202 words. Trying to keep at it a little every day.

Nita Sweeney I need to send a pitch for someone to review and I’m quaking in my shoes. Here goes. Gonna hit enter here and hit send!

Leah Kent Publish a new blog post and finish a VERY rough outline/draft of my complete nonfiction book concept. Working on that right this moment!!

Catherine Turley Get to my goal of 100 book launch team members on my email list. Almost halfway there

Bill Kelly I hope I can get a couple of thousand words. The next few weeks are going to continue to be difficult.

Pam Martin It started with getting a personnel manual and a purchasing policy manual finished, along with an indigent defense plan. Now that those are done, I can get onto MY work. I’m hoping for at least 5K by Sunday evening.

Michele Miles Gardiner Face writing my second book of stories again. I’m halfway through my first draft, but can’t seem to sit down and work anymore.

Michael Scott Finish editing chapter one…ok finish might be too strong a word. Maybe stop nitpicking every word of chapter one.

Nita Sweeney Playing catch-up.

Tom Moser More submissions. More writing.

Ester Benjamin Shifren I’m starting to teach my memoir class on Thursday!

Lois Paige Simenson Rewrite Chapter 1 of fire book after contest feedback said it wasn’t believable. Back to square one.

Arlene Schindler Getting people to attend my Author Talk on Saturday, October 19th at the Westwood Library from 2-3 PM:
