Here are the goals posted in June. How did everyone do?

Alisha Vincent Finish the first draft of my novel.

Margaret Ludwig To finally stop procrastinating, get through my edits and get ready to publish. No, really.

Sajib Mannan I’m looking foward to write five new blog posts for my blog. smile emoticon Happy writing!

Stacie Renee Taylor get finished with @ least the first chapter of my new novel I’m writing.

Margaret Ludwig Get through 5 chapters this week

Marty McConnell Finish novel edit, finish beta-read for a friend, work on outlining book II

Alisha Vincent 5,000 words

Wayne Manigo Last night I met Mike Sacks (author of “Poking a Dead Frog: Conversations with Today’s Top Comedy Writers”) at a comedy writing workshop. I’m going to write an article about what I learned in his workshop.

Margaret Ludwig Final edits on 5 chapters

Melissa Barry Use the summer to get my book outlined and written. I want to spend the next year getting advice, revising, and edit the manuscript. I am a school teacher, so I am taking advantage of the next eight weeks.

Eboné Siobhan To shake off this writer’s block.

Shannon Luders-Manuel Complete first draft of my book by the end of summer. For end of July, get to at least 100 pages (61 right now).

Laurie Wetzel Send final changes to designer, contact 4 B&N stores to set up signings, begin working on edits from editor on different story, and remember to breathe wink emoticon

Warren Paul Glover Short story by the end of the week.

Jennifer Kent There are so many contests and publishers now accepting that I want to get my stuff in order and send my work out. Lol

Beth McGee Get a designer for my book cover!

Kain B Fairbrooks Finally finish chapter one of that Victorian era with modern day technology and magic story XD

Wayne Manigo I just walked away from a TV project that became a “time suck” from my writing. So this week I will update the Washington DC Comedy Writers Group website with new content, and update my Stage Time Magazine column with a new article. Damn it feels good to get back to writing!

Colleen Wait Read my own book “Mount Mission” then begin part two.

J Tom Field Get a first scene written that will establish a character that will be able to fulfill the aim of my story. The last two were very uncooperative, as Sarah Myers should be able to understand.

Shanica Davis 5000 words a week.

Sarah Myers I aspire to have the tentative outline for my new project finished by the end of the week (and I say tentative because sometimes the characters like to change things and forget to tell me)

Margaret Ludwig Get this book done this year!

Warren Paul Glover Focus is on acting this week. One shoot. Three auditions.

Kain B Fairbrooks Ummm to finish up my tv pilot script XD
