We had a fun and informative Write On August Meeting, where we talked about finding your truth, writing your story, and TV specs. A great mixed bad of conversation, thanks to our awesome guest Jen Grisanti, Change Your Story, Change Your Life.
Some of Jen’s advice:
– Writers should be social. Networking is the key to your future.
– Writing is personal: Fiction writers can write their emotional truth through fiction. Non-fiction writers need to remember that their life experience is part of the message.
– These days, there are more opportunities in TV: Submit to writing programs. Go to groups. Have an outstanding portfolio.
Listen to our entire conversation. Also, read theAuthor Q&A with Jen Grisanti.
