It’s National Novel Writing Month. That one month a year when authors and would-be authors try and cram a book full of words (50,000+) into 30 days of writing. It’s awesome.
I have successfully completed both NaNo and it’s cousin – the now-defunct National Screenwriting Month. And it’s really invigorating. Whether I work on a novel or other writing project, I try to keep track of my words each November. It’s like the regular goal-setting we do on Write On Online. There is something magical about sharing your goals, and cheering others on as they succeed.
Good luck to everyone taking the challenge this year. And if you are participating, feel free to leave your NaNo link in the comments, so we can connect on the NaNoWriMo site.
Happy Writing!
