— Sherry Hayes-Peirce (@trainerchick47) May 28, 2018
A1. I had been saying for the last few weeks that the goals were ✈ticket to see my mom and an outline for my presentation. I can report tonight that both are done. ✅ #GoalChat
— Danny Kambel (@DannyKambel) May 28, 2018
A1: Major downtime. It’s always difficult for me not to work even when I’m off. So my big win was when I forced myself a break. #GoalChat
— Narmadhaa (@s_narmadhaa) May 28, 2018
A1) Let’s see:
1. Did a full day seminar on the Sustained Leadership WBS book
2. Did a live webinar on Thursday for the book
3. Met with a long-term client looking to send me more work.
4. Completed the executive briefing for the training related to the book.

— Dan MacDougall (@Dan_MacDougallx) May 28, 2018
A1: last week, I didn’t get my blog post up on time. Rather than beat myself up over it, I just got to work on the next post! That’s a win for me. Also, I enjoyed some family downtown. #GoalChat
— April (@aprilemaye) May 28, 2018
Good for you, April! I tend to beat myself up when I don’t meet a certain goal. I’m learning to forgive myself more. #GoalChat
— Narmadhaa (@s_narmadhaa) May 28, 2018
A1) Managed to delete up to 2000 not needed emails from my inbox – just a few thousand more to go! #GoalChat

Special Topic: YouTube
Special Topic: YouTube. Do you have a channel? What is your YouTube link? @WriteOnOnline @TheDEBMethod #GoalChat
— ⭐ #GoalChat ⭐ (@GoalChat) May 28, 2018
I just launched a channel for @TheDEBMethod https://t.co/LPTKsHKxdL #goalchat
— ⭐ #GoalChat ⭐ (@GoalChat) May 28, 2018
I do not have a YouTube channel personally. I contribute to our department YouTube channel (BoxerBuzz). #GoalChat
— Danny Kambel (@DannyKambel) May 28, 2018
Nothing there yet, but here it is:https://t.co/j5Rl5pFuon#goalchat
— Dan MacDougall (@Dan_MacDougallx) May 28, 2018
No channel yet. I’m still uncomfortable seeing myself on camera. And I’m just observing from the sidelines. Wondering if it is right for me. Don’t want to do it just because everyone else is doing it. #GoalChat
— Narmadhaa (@s_narmadhaa) May 28, 2018
True. It’s also important that our audience is on YouTube. Managing a channel is a lot of work, and it’s useless unless people are interested in it. #GoalChat
— Narmadhaa (@s_narmadhaa) May 28, 2018
I can relate to this. I’m a breast cancer survivor. Before cancer my career required me to be on camera. I loved it! I felt at home there. But cancer hijacked my self-esteem. I’m in the process of rebuilding it so I can feel comfortable again in front of the camera. #GoalChat
— April (@aprilemaye) May 28, 2018
Thanks for that feedback Tom. I appreciate that!! #GoalChat
— April (@aprilemaye) May 28, 2018
A) I have a You Tube channel https://t.co/LYhpaxOyPF, but only using it to store video.

Why YouTube
Q3. Why do you use YouTube? What do you like best about it? @WriteOnOnline @TheDEBMethod #GoalChat pic.twitter.com/KUwY1Yp7MU
— ⭐ #GoalChat ⭐ (@GoalChat) May 28, 2018
A3. Visibility. And a great way to show personality. And the #2 search engine. #GoalChat
— ⭐ #GoalChat ⭐ (@GoalChat) May 28, 2018
A3. I don’t use YouTube personally. I listen more to YouTube than I watch it. 📺 #GoalChat
— Danny Kambel (@DannyKambel) May 28, 2018
A3. Writing tutorials & watching vintage music videos. #goalchat
— Jon Duckworth (@Duck_n_Pulpit) May 28, 2018
I don’t currently use YouTube. It’s something I’m considering. I see the benefits of it. #GoalChat
— April (@aprilemaye) May 28, 2018
A3: YouTube is the second largest search engine. It’s the best way for a business/brand to get discovered.
That said, it’s also not for everyone. Not for me for now. #GoalChat
— Narmadhaa (@s_narmadhaa) May 28, 2018
A3. I used to do a @PeriscopeCo conversation called the Professional Chit Chat. #GoalChat
— Danny Kambel (@DannyKambel) May 28, 2018
I have 36 FB lives that I will be uploading to you tube before the speaking tour starts. #goalchat
— Sherry Hayes-Peirce (@trainerchick47) May 28, 2018
A3) I believe video is a powerful marketing tool, especially for training and speaking. Less so for consulting. Best – they make posting pretty simple. #GoalChat
— Tom Reid (@_TomGReid) May 28, 2018
A3) I use YouTube to remind me of things I’d forgotten about like old songs, tv shows and favourite ads. Lately I’ve been using them to catch up on shows that I used to watch in the states but don’t get in the UK & to watch meditation videos #GoalChat
— AndromedaTrance (@andromedatrance) May 28, 2018
Types of Videos
Q4. What types of videos do you post on #YouTube? @WriteOnOnline @TheDEBMethod #GoalChat pic.twitter.com/eoNmZ0rxl2
— ⭐ #GoalChat ⭐ (@GoalChat) May 28, 2018
A4. Now I have a testimonial and a “Meet Deb” trailer. I’m going to start posting video tips and eventually a new video podcast! #GoalChat
— ⭐ #GoalChat ⭐ (@GoalChat) May 28, 2018
A4. One of my first videos was soooooo cheesy. Yet when being considered for a project my client watched it and said, “that is who we want working for us.” project#goalchat
— elizabeth traub (@elizabethtraub) May 28, 2018
A4) I have some short informational items, some promotional items, and I’m putting the recordings of my webinars there soon. #GoalChat
— Tom Reid (@_TomGReid) May 28, 2018
A4) Although I do see the benefits of YouTube having read everyone’s excellent ideas I would never post a video myself as I would spend too much time fretting over the imaginary spot on my chin🤔 #GoalChat
— AndromedaTrance (@andromedatrance) May 28, 2018
Q4b. What is the average length? @WriteOnOnline @TheDEBMethod #GoalChat
— ⭐ #GoalChat ⭐ (@GoalChat) May 28, 2018
A4b. My tips will be 2 minutes. Podcast 15 minutes. #goalchat
— ⭐ #GoalChat ⭐ (@GoalChat) May 28, 2018
A4) Sadly I gab for about 5 minutes on most of my videos, but I share 6 actionable tips in that timeframe! #goalchat
— Sherry Hayes-Peirce (@trainerchick47) May 28, 2018
A4b. I think length depends on your topic/purpose. #GoalChat
— Danny Kambel (@DannyKambel) May 28, 2018
A4b: The ideal length of a video depends on the topic. Ads stick to 30-60 seconds. Other promotional stuff, 3-5 minutes, and more educational material can range from 20-30 minutes. It’s all about who the audience is and what they want. #GoalChat
— Narmadhaa (@s_narmadhaa) May 28, 2018
Three to seven minutes. The webinars will be a full hour. #GoalChat
— Tom Reid (@_TomGReid) May 28, 2018

A5. Ask that guy over there. LOL. Not my sweet spot. #goalchat

— AndromedaTrance (@andromedatrance) May 28, 2018
Q5b. What are your recommendations for getting #YouTube subscribers? How do you promote your videos? @WriteOnOnline @TheDEBMethod #GoalChat
— ⭐ #GoalChat ⭐ (@GoalChat) May 28, 2018
A5b. Working on this. Want to get to 100 subscribers, so I can go Live on YouTube too! #goalchat
— ⭐ #GoalChat ⭐ (@GoalChat) May 28, 2018
Also need 100 for a custom URL #goalchat

Ha ha. Love the motivation. May have to do a YouTube thread in the group https://t.co/D38rtvUFwe #goalchat
