We had a fabulous March Write On Meeting last week with The Story Coach Patrick Horton. If you missed it, be sure to listen to the replay. There’s something everyone can learn from our conversation about story.
Patrick’s recommendations include:
1. First of all, listen for and to those stories that call on you and that want you to tell them.
2. Secondly, trust the story and the fact that it will by necessity and personal journey take you into the unknown.
3. Third, commit first to mastering story rather than getting distracted with what you think the market wants or learning the very strange and demanding medium of screenwriting.
