FilmBreak is hosting theatrical screenings in Los Angeles to celebrate the digital release or two of their films. On August 15 at the LA Film School, there will be a screening of feature film I Think It’s Raining, followed by a Q&A with director Joshua Moore, producer Brooke Dooley, and one of the stars of the film, Andy Dulman. On August 20, at the Raleigh Studios, there will be a screening of documentary Cow Power: The Film, followed by a Q&A with director Allison Gillette. Each event will have an after party.

Lee Gale Gruen will be giving an author talk/book signing at the Santa Monica Library, 6th and Santa Monica Blvd, on August 14, at 7pm.  She will be talking about her recently published memoir: Adventures with Dad: A Father and Daughter’s Journey Through a Senior Acting Class, as well as about reinventing herself in her senior years.

Faye Rapoport DesPres’ debut book, a memoir-in-essays titled Message from a Blue Jay, will be published in Spring 2014 by Buddhapuss Ink. Faye will be creating a Facebook page soon for her book, but in the meantime, you can follow her on Twitter at @MassWriter.
